What is a bathroom door handle on backplate?

It is a lever on a backplate with a thumbturn and release, so a bathroom or WC door locks from inside and can be opened from outside in an emergency. It works with a bathroom lock.

How does the emergency release work?

The outside of the backplate has a release, usually a coin slot, that frees the lock from outside if someone is unwell or the door sticks.

What finishes are available?

Frelan Hardware finishes include polished, antique and satin brass, polished and satin chrome, polished and satin nickel, Florentine bronze, pewter and antique black.
