Buying Guide

How to Choose From The Anvil Lighting

Every From The Anvil light is built from three choices: the design, the metal and the shade colour. These are the main things to check.

1. The design and size: the Brindley is the smallest pendant at 260mm, then the Harborne at 400mm, the Frankley at 412mm, the Flora at 500mm and the Hockley at 510mm. For a high hallway or stairwell, choose a cluster pendant with five shades.

2. The metal: brass gives a soft, warm glow; copper a warm light that suits a cooler bulb; nickel a bright, reflective finish; and hammered finishes a soft, dappled light. White gloss Accent pendants are the brightest.

3. The colour: leave the shade bare, or choose one of 12 colours for the outside, from Elan Black to Upstream blue and Heath green. See all coloured pendant lights.

4. Wall lights: match Brindley or Flora wall lights to your pendants. They project 224mm and run on a 12V E14 LED bulb.

5. Bulbs: bulbs are bought separately and must be LED, up to 6W. See our LED light bulbs for the matching E27 and 12V E14 bulbs.
