What is a bathroom door handle on backplate?

It is a lever handle on a backplate with a thumbturn and release, so a bathroom or WC door locks from inside and can be opened from outside in an emergency. It works with a bathroom lock.

How does the emergency release work?

The outside of the backplate has a release, usually a coin slot, that frees the lock from outside if someone is unwell or the door sticks.

What finishes does From The Anvil offer?

From The Anvil hardware is hand-finished in options including aged bronze, natural smooth pewter, aged and polished brass, satin brass, beeswax, black and nickel.
