The Fiskars X28 splitting axe is a medium-sized splitting axe for logs of around 20-30cm in diameter, supplied here with a Fiskars blade sharpener. Its wider blade and splitting wedge increase power and help the blade release from the wood, while a low-friction coating glides through timber and protects against rust.

The double-hardened forged steel blade holds its edge for longer, and the ultralight FiberComp shaft is virtually unbreakable with superior overstrike protection. An oversized SoftGrip handle with hooked end gives control and security, and a sheath protects the blade in storage. Designed in Finland and backed by a 25-year warranty.
