Heritage Brass - Satin Chrome Door Furniture

Satin Chrome Door Handles, Door Knobs and Brushed Chrome Door Furniture

Heritage Brass satin chrome door furniture is nearly 350 solid brass lever handles, mortice knobs, flush pulls, front door fittings, bathroom fittings, coat hooks and door bolts by M.Marcus. Satin chrome, often called brushed chrome, has a soft low sheen, and M.Marcus notes that it resists fingerprints, a real help on internal doors that are opened dozens of times a day.

Satin Chrome Door Knobs

Satin chrome mortice knobs on rose come in Chester, Goodrich, Kensington, Mayfair, Reeded, Richmond, Suffolk, Victoria and Westminster designs, and the Broadway knob comes on latch, lock, euro profile and bathroom plates. Victoria, Suffolk and reeded rim knobs are for rim locks only, and the front door can take a satin chrome centre door knob.

Flush Pulls, Pull Handles and Sliding Doors

Satin chrome flush pulls include round, half moon, square and rectangular designs, reeded versions and a pocket door edge pull, with a 197mm flush pull privacy set where a sliding door needs to lock. For larger doors there are tubular door pull handles in 320mm, 444mm and 620mm, the Citi pull and a pull handle on an offset plate.

Front Door and Door Accessories

Finish the entrance with satin chrome door knockers, brushed chrome letterboxes, satin chrome door numbers and letters and bell pushes. Inside, add escutcheons, finger plates, satin chrome door stops, bathroom thumb turns, coat hooks and door bolts, or see all satin chrome door furniture accessories.

Locks, Hinges and Care

Heritage Brass handles are sold without locks or latches, so pair them with York Security satin chrome and nickel locks and latches and hang the door on satin chrome hinges. Regularly removing dirt and watermarks with a non-abrasive cloth will help maintain the life of the finish, and external fittings will benefit from a periodic light oiling of springs and moving parts. Satin Chrome Door Furniture Questions

Is brushed chrome door furniture the same as satin chrome?
Yes. Satin chrome is the Heritage Brass name for brushed chrome: the same cool silver as polished chrome, brushed to a soft sheen.

Which satin chrome handles suit an internal door?
Latch handles on a backplate or a lever on rose with a tubular latch, or a mortice knob with a tubular latch. Use a bathroom handle or a thumb turn on bathroom doors.

Do the handles come with a latch?
No. Choose a York Security satin chrome and nickel latch or lock to suit the handle type.

Can I use satin chrome on a front door?
Yes. Wipe off dirt and watermarks regularly with a non-abrasive cloth, and lightly oil the springs and moving parts of knockers and letterboxes from time to time.

Satin Chrome for Bathrooms and Sliding Doors

Bathrooms, en suites and sliding doors need more thought than a standard internal door. The satin chrome range has a fitting for each, and the brushed finish sits comfortably with brushed or chrome taps and shower fittings.

Turn and release sets. Pair a lever on rose with a satin chrome bathroom turn and release and a bathroom lock. There are round and small round designs, square designs, a linear grip turn, a knurled turn with peg, and indicator versions that show when the room is in use.

Bathroom handles on a backplate. If you prefer one plate, Algarve, Bedford, Deco, Delta, Savoy, Sophia, Sutton, Verona Small, Victoria, Waldorf and Windsor all come as satin chrome bathroom handles on a single backplate, to use with a York bathroom lock. See every brand in satin chrome bathroom door handles.

Bedrooms. For a bedroom or dressing room door that needs a simple privacy lock, there is a satin chrome privacy bolt and an oval thumbturn, alongside short plate privacy set handles in Bedford, Sophia, Victoria and Windsor designs.

Sliding and pocket doors. Satin chrome flush pulls sit level with the door face so they do not catch. Choose round, round reeded or half moon pulls, a 63.5mm square pull, rectangular and reeded rectangular pulls in 105mm, 175mm and 300mm, or 4 inch, 6 inch and 197mm flush pulls.

Pocket doors. The pocket door edge pull lets you draw the door out of the wall, and the combined edge pull and flush pull covers both jobs. Where the door needs to lock, fit the 197mm flush pull privacy set.

Finishing touches. Hang towels and dressing gowns on satin chrome robe hooks, protect the wall with a satin chrome door stop, and hang the door on satin chrome hinges.

Knockers, letterboxes, numbers and centre knobs

The Satin Chrome Front Door

Satin chrome gives a front door a cool, modern look that is softer than mirror chrome. Here is everything in the range for the outside of the door.

Door knockers. Satin chrome door knockers come in urn designs in 6 inch and 7 1/4 inch, a 7 1/4 inch reeded urn, and doctors, slim, lion head and ring knockers.

Letterboxes. Satin chrome letter plates run from 8 x 3 inch up to 16 x 5 inch, with a reeded 10 x 4 inch plate, a plate with embossed letters, straight and curved gravity letter plates in 11 x 3 inch and a postal knocker that combines a knocker and letterbox. Interior letter flaps come in 280mm, 299mm and 400mm to cover the inside of the door.

Door numbers and letters. Satin chrome door numbers 0 to 9 come in face fix, concealed fix and self adhesive versions in 51mm and 76mm sizes, and the letters A to Z are pin fix, for house names or numbers such as 12A.

Centre door knobs. A satin chrome centre door knob in round, square, Victorian, octagonal, stepped round, stepped octagonal or reeded beehive designs gives you something to pull the door closed with.

Bell pushes, chains and cylinder pulls. Add a satin chrome bell push in round, square, rectangular or reeded designs, a satin chrome door chain, and a round or square cylinder pull.

Care. Regularly removing dirt and watermarks with a non-abrasive cloth will help maintain the life of the finish. External fittings will also benefit from a periodic light oiling of springs and moving parts.
