The From The Anvil Aged Bronze Traditional Letterbox is part of the From The Anvil letter plates and flaps range. For composite and upvc doors we would recommend using the From The Anvil door letterbox which is supplied as a full kit and contains a tunnel and brushes to reduce drafts and insulate the door. The sleeve inside the letterbox also protects the door from moisture and masks the aperture cutting. Check the size of your existing letter plate cut out, or the space on a new door, before you order.

Aged Bronze Finish

Aged Bronze is a versatile finish that's equally suited to interiors featuring lighter shades for bold contrast, or darker hues for a more subtle aesthetic. One of the From The Anvil most popular finishes favoured for its dark, matte richness with distinctive warm undertones unlike any other finish in the From The Anvil range.

From The Anvil's Aged Bronze products are made using solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal is what gives it a dark, dramatic appearance, before a durable matt lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing to help protect and preserve its distinctive tones.

The Traditional Letterbox is also made in Burnished Brass, Aged Brass, Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel, Polished Marine SS (316), Satin Marine SS (316), Pewter Patina, Black, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Satin Brass and External Beeswax.

Care and Maintenance

From The Anvil advises against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
