If you are looking for antique brass internal door handles, Aged Brass is From The Anvil's answer. It is made from solid, unlacquered brass that is aged and then repolished, leaving a darker patina in the edges and recesses against brighter raised areas. It suits period homes and deep, dark paint colours.

Most designs come on a round rose or a square rose, with a plain, beehive or stepped Art Deco rose to choose from, and in sprung or unsprung versions. Lever handles on rose work with a tubular latch, sash lock, euro lock or bathroom lock, so pair them with a matching escutcheon or bathroom thumbturn in the same finish.

Aged Brass is From The Anvil's antique-look brass finish. It is solid brass that is aged and then repolished, so it has a darker patina in the recesses and brighter raised areas.

Should I choose sprung or unsprung?

Sprung handles have a strong spring built into the boss, which helps the lever return to level, and suit heavier levers or latches with a light spring. Unsprung handles rely on the spring in the latch or lock. If you are unsure, ask us before you order.
