Discover the Timeless Elegance of the From The Anvil Beeswax Door Furniture Collection

Bring authentic period character to your interior doors with the From The Anvil Beeswax Door Furniture Collection. This traditional forged range is ideal for cottages, barn conversions, heritage renovations, and rustic-inspired homes—delivering a distinctive beeswax finish with the durability and craftsmanship From The Anvil is known for.

What you’ll find in the collection

This collection includes classic beeswax door handles (on roses and backplates), traditional thumb latches, ring latches, pull handles, bathroom turns and releases, and matching accessories—designed to help you keep a consistent look throughout your property.

Why choose a beeswax finish?

Beeswax is a time-honoured way to protect and enhance forged steel. Each piece is treated to create a subtle, matte appearance that highlights the natural depth and variation of the metal—often showing warm ochre tones and darker blue/charcoal hues. The result is a finish that looks “right” in period settings and complements timber doors beautifully.

Best for traditional interiors

If you’re restoring a period property or creating a country-style interior, beeswax door furniture is a standout choice. It pairs especially well with ledged & braced doors, oak internal doors, cottage-style joinery, and heritage décor themes.

Care and maintenance

For indoor use, beeswax door furniture is straightforward to look after—wipe with a dry, soft cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. If required, a light re-wax can help maintain the finish over time, especially in higher-touch areas.
