Matt Black and Hand-Forged Black Kitchen Handles

From The Anvil black kitchen hardware comes in two looks. Matt Black is a flat, modern black used on the contemporary ranges such as Brompton, Judd, Kelso and Moore. Black is the traditional hand-forged Blacksmith finish, with Bean, Gothic and Hammered D handles and Beehive and Hammered knobs for cottage and farmhouse kitchens.

Choose from the Brompton knurled, Judd, Kelso, Moore, Scully, Kahlo and Albers ranges. Most of the modern pull handles come in three sizes with 96mm, 160mm and 224mm fixing centres, and the matching cupboard knobs come in three diameters, so you can size each handle to the door or drawer.

Black Kitchen Handles: Questions

What is the difference between Black and Matt Black?

Black is From The Anvil's traditional hand-forged finish with a subtle sheen, used on Blacksmith designs. Matt Black is a flat, clean black used on the modern cabinet ranges.

What size kitchen handle should I choose?

A common guide is to use a smaller handle or knob on small drawers and doors and a longer handle on wide drawers and tall doors. From The Anvil pull handles come in 96mm, 160mm and 224mm fixing centres in most modern ranges, so measure the hole centres if you are replacing old handles.
