From The Anvil Bronze Door Knockers

Aged and Polished Bronze Front Door Knockers

From The Anvil bronze finishes are made from bronze with a minimum of 85% copper. Aged Bronze is dark and matt with warm undertones, and Polished Bronze is bright with a darker patina in the recesses. Both are lacquered.

From The Anvil designs its door knockers to suit timber, composite, uPVC and aluminium doors. Match the knocker to your letter plates, centre door knobs and house numbers in the same finish.

Bronze Door Knockers: Questions

What is the difference between Aged Bronze and Polished Bronze?

Aged Bronze is a dark, matt finish. Polished Bronze is bright and reflective with darker edges. Both are lacquered.

Does bronze darken outside?

Bronze will naturally darken over time. From The Anvil says Polished Bronze can be brought back with a beeswax based furniture polish.
