From The Anvil Bronze Kitchen Handles

Aged Bronze and Polished Bronze Kitchen Handles

From The Anvil bronze kitchen hardware is made from solid bronze with a minimum of 85% copper. Aged Bronze is dark and matt with warm undertones, while Polished Bronze is aged and then repolished for bright surfaces with a darker patina in the detail. Both are lacquered.

Choose from the Brompton knurled, Judd, Kelso, Moore, Scully, Kahlo and Albers ranges. Most of the modern pull handles come in three sizes with 96mm, 160mm and 224mm fixing centres, and the matching cupboard knobs come in three diameters, so you can size each handle to the door or drawer.

Bronze Kitchen Handles: Questions

What is the difference between aged bronze and polished bronze?

Aged Bronze is dark and matt with warm undertones. Polished Bronze is aged and then repolished, so it is bright with a darker patina in the details. Both are solid bronze.

What size kitchen handle should I choose?

A common guide is to use a smaller handle or knob on small drawers and doors and a longer handle on wide drawers and tall doors. From The Anvil pull handles come in 96mm, 160mm and 224mm fixing centres in most modern ranges, so measure the hole centres if you are replacing old handles.
