The From The Anvil Black Oval Escutcheon & Cover is part of the From The Anvil escutcheons range. From The Anvil's vast range of escutcheons are used to decorate key holes, adding the finishing touch to any locking door. Match the escutcheon to the lock type: a standard keyhole for lever mortice locks, or a euro escutcheon for euro cylinder locks.

From The Anvil's Black products have a distinctive, subtle sheen; hand forged from mild steel this finish are extremely low maintenance, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability as a result of being powder coated, then baked in a high temperature oven during the final stages of manufacturing. An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

The Oval Escutcheon & Cover is also made in Pewter Patina, Satin Chrome, Polished Bronze, Aged Bronze, Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel, Aged Brass, Polished Brass, External Beeswax and Beeswax.

Care and Maintenance

An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, From The Anvil offers a durable 'Black Touch Up Paint' (73101) if required.
