The From The Anvil Aged Bronze Round Escutcheon (Square) is part of the From The Anvil escutcheons range. From The Anvil's vast range of escutcheons are used to decorate key holes, adding the finishing touch to any locking door. Match the escutcheon to the lock type: a standard keyhole for lever mortice locks, or a euro escutcheon for euro cylinder locks.

Aged Bronze Finish

Aged Bronze is a versatile finish that's equally suited to interiors featuring lighter shades for bold contrast, or darker hues for a more subtle aesthetic. One of the From The Anvil most popular finishes favoured for its dark, matte richness with distinctive warm undertones unlike any other finish in the From The Anvil range.

From The Anvil's Aged Bronze products are made using solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal is what gives it a dark, dramatic appearance, before a durable matt lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing to help protect and preserve its distinctive tones.

The Round Escutcheon (Square) is also made in Burnished Brass, Pewter Patina, External Beeswax, Black, Polished Nickel, Polished Chrome, Aged Brass, Polished Brass, Polished Marine SS (316), Satin Marine SS (316), Matt Black, Polished Bronze and Satin Brass.

Care and Maintenance

From The Anvil advises against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
