From The Anvil Polished Nickel Cabinet Hardware

Polished Nickel Kitchen Handles and Cupboard Knobs

Polished Nickel is a bright, reflective finish with a warmth that cooler chrome does not have. From The Anvil applies a single plating to solid brass, leaving subtle brassy undertones that suit both contemporary and traditional kitchens.

Choose from the Brompton knurled, Judd, Kelso, Moore, Scully, Kahlo and Albers ranges. Most of the modern pull handles come in three sizes with 96mm, 160mm and 224mm fixing centres, and the matching cupboard knobs come in three diameters, so you can size each handle to the door or drawer.

Polished Nickel Cabinet Hardware: Questions

What is the difference between polished nickel and chrome?

Both are bright and reflective. Polished Nickel has a single plating on solid brass, which gives warm, slightly golden undertones, while Polished Chrome is cooler in tone.

What size kitchen handle should I choose?

A common guide is to use a smaller handle or knob on small drawers and doors and a longer handle on wide drawers and tall doors. From The Anvil pull handles come in 96mm, 160mm and 224mm fixing centres in most modern ranges, so measure the hole centres if you are replacing old handles.
