Satin Brass offers a sophisticated and more contemporary alternative to Polished and Aged Brass. Manufactured from solid brass, the From The Anvil Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel during the final stages of manufacturing, giving them their distinctive, matt appearance, before a high quality matt lacquer is applied to the surface for protection.

Care and Maintenance

From The Anvil advises against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer.

Products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like the From The Anvil 'Maintenance Wax' (33002). This will help remove dirt, fingerprints and watermarks, while offering some protection and protecting the lacquer.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
