TV and Telephone Sockets: Questions

What is the difference between a master and a slave telephone socket?

From The Anvil makes both. The master socket is the main socket where the line comes into the house, and slave sockets are the extension sockets wired from it.

Who should fit these switches and sockets?

Electrical work in the home should be carried out by a qualified electrician, who can check the back boxes, wiring and circuit before fitting. We can help you choose the plates and finishes.

Trade Door Handles is part of T.H. Wiggans Ironmongery, an independent architectural ironmonger trading since 1976. We have stocked From The Anvil for decades, and both our T.H.
