Floor Mounted Door Stops in Solid Brass

Heritage Brass floor door stops by M.Marcus are fixed to the floor where the door would swing into the wall, protecting the plaster, the door and the handle. There are nine designs in solid brass, each sold singly with fixing screws. Part of the Heritage Brass door stops range.

Open the door until the handle is just short of the wall, then fix the stop to the floor where the door face meets it, usually near the outer edge of the door so it takes the force without straining the hinges.

A taller round or square floor door stop is easy to see and gives a firm stop. The traditional square stop has buffers on two sides, so it can also sit close to a wall.
