Wall Mounted and Skirting Door Stops

Heritage Brass wall and projection door stops by M.Marcus are fixed to the wall or skirting board behind the door, so the door stops before the handle can damage the plaster, and nothing sits on the floor to trip over. There are eight designs in solid brass, each sold singly with fixing screws. Part of the Heritage Brass door stops range.

Wall and Projection Door Stop Designs

  • Projection door stops 64mm and 76mm: classic skirting door stops with a rubber buffer
  • Cylinder projection door stops 64mm and 76mm: a plain cylinder without a rose, for a cleaner look
  • Wall mounted door stops 64mm and 76mm: on a square 42 x 42mm wall plate
  • Square wall mounted door stop 76mm: a square design on a slim plate
  • Wall mounted door buffer 41mm: a low-profile round buffer only 13mm deep

Choosing a Projection

Wall Door Stop Questions

What is a projection door stop?
A projection door stop is fixed to the skirting board or wall and reaches out to meet the door, so the door stops before the handle can hit the plaster.

Which size projection door stop do I need?
Measure how far your door handle sticks out from the door and choose a stop at least that long. The 64mm size suits most doors, while the 76mm size suits deeper skirting boards and longer handles.

Can I fix a door stop to the skirting board?
Yes. Projection door stops and wall mounted door stops are made to be fixed to the wall or the skirting board behind the door.

What is a wall mounted door buffer?
A wall mounted door buffer is a low round stop fixed to the wall exactly where the handle would hit, ideal where there is no room for a longer projection stop.
