Heritage Brass Octagonal Centre Door Knobs

Octagonal and Stepped Octagon Front Door Knobs

Octagonal centre door knobs have faceted sides that catch the light, giving a Victorian and Edwardian front door real presence. Centre door knobs are fixed through the middle rail of the door and used to pull it closed.

What is in this collection

• V880 faceted octagon knob - base 66mm, knob 57mm, projection 81mm
• V890 stepped octagon knob - base 82mm, knob 71mm, projection 83mm, also in Unlacquered Brass
• Bolt-through fixing, solid brass
• Polished Nickel versions available

The V890 also features in our stepped centre door knobs, alongside the V905 stepped round. For a crisper shape, see the square centre door knobs.

Finishes and materials

Products in this collection are made from solid brass and are available in Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel, Satin Brass, Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel and Unlacquered Brass. Polished Nickel is an uncoated finish with a warm golden hue that will develop a gentle patina unless buffed regularly with a soft cloth. Matt Bronze is an aged finish that will lighten naturally on edges and frequently touched areas, revealing the brass beneath over time. Antique Brass has russet hues over a brass undertone for a warm, mature look that suits period homes. Always choose all your door furniture from the same brand and finish to guarantee an exact colour match.
