Tubular Privacy Deadbolts for Bathroom and WC Doors

A tubular bathroom deadbolt is a compact privacy bolt fitted separately from the door latch. It is the ideal choice when you are using lever on rose handles or door knobs with a plain tubular latch and want a simple lockable bathroom, en-suite or WC door. These deadbolts are made by M.Marcus under the York Security and CE names.

How it works

A thumbturn on the inside throws the bolt to lock the door. On the outside, an emergency release allows the bolt to be withdrawn with a coin or screwdriver. The deadbolt is operated by a 5mm spindle, so pair it with a matching Heritage Brass or matching bathroom thumb turn.

  • Lengths: 3, 4 and 5 inch (backsets approx. 57 and 82mm on the 3 and 4 inch)
  • Suits 5mm thumbturn and release spindles
  • Bolt through fixing for thumbturns
