The From The Anvil Pewter 10" French Door Bolt is finished in Pewter Patina. From The Anvil has an extensive range of door, window, French, and flush bolts, ranging from 4" to 12". Flush bolts are usually used to secure the slave door of a pair of doors.

Pewter Patina products undergo an accelerated ageing process, creating a dark patina before being placed into barrelling machines, giving them the unique finish. During the final stages of manufacturing, a high quality, clear matt lacquer is applied for protection. A low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
