Sizing Advice and Usage

Most internal doors (35mm thick) suit 3" x 2" hinges (75mm x 50mm), while thicker or heavier external doors require 4" x 3" hinges (102mm x 75mm). For secure and even hanging, we strongly recommend fitting three hinges per door.

These washered butt hinges also come in styles like projection hinges and parliament hinges for broader door openings or when working around deep architraves. All styles benefit from the reduced friction offered by integrated washers.
