What is a bathroom thumb turn?

A small turn on the inside of a bathroom door that locks it, paired with an emergency release on the outside that can be opened with a coin.

Do I need a special lock?

Yes. Thumb turns work with a bathroom deadlock or bathroom mortice lock with a 5mm spindle.

Will it match my Sorrento handles?

Yes. Sorrento thumb turns are made in the same finishes and in round and square designs to match Sorrento lever handles on rose.

Sorrento Bathroom Thumb Turns

Sorrento Thumb Turn and Emergency Release Sets

Sorrento bathroom thumb turns give bathroom, en-suite and bedroom doors a private lock when the handles are on rose. The thumb turn locks the door from inside, while the emergency release on the outside can be opened with a coin if needed.

Round, Square and Concealed Designs

Choose a round rose turn to match round rose levers, a square turn to match square rose designs, or a concealed square plate for a flush, minimal finish. See the Sorrento square door accessories and Sorrento matt black accessories ranges for coordinated sets.
