This York Security 3 lever mortice sash lock is for internal doors that need to be latched with a handle and locked with a key, such as home offices, stores, utility rooms and bedrooms in shared houses. The handle operates the latch bolt and the key throws the deadbolt.

It suits lever lock handles with 8mm spindles and 57mm centres, and can also be used with lever on rose handles or knobs and a separate keyhole escutcheon, using bolt through fixing. A 3 lever lock is intended for internal doors; for external doors choose a British Standard BS3621 5 lever lock.

Finish

Antique brass is an aged finish with darker bronze tones and brighter brass highlights, sealed with a clear protective lacquer. It is chosen to match the antique brass door handles, knobs and hinges in the M.Marcus range. Antique finishes vary slightly in tone from piece to piece, which is a characteristic of the finish rather than a fault. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
