What is the difference between a lock and a latch?

A latch holds a door closed and is worked by the handle; a lock adds a bolt thrown by a key or turn for security.

A mortice lock combining a latch and a deadbolt in one case, so the handle works the latch and a key throws the bolt.

Do you stock British Standard locks?

Yes. Zoo offers BS 3621 British Standard locks for doors that need an insurance-rated lock.
