From The Anvil black door handles on rose come in two finishes. Black is hand forged from mild steel and powder coated, with a subtle sheen that suits cottages and traditional homes. Matt Black is finished on solid steel for a flat, clean black that works just as well in modern interiors.

Most designs come on a round rose or a square rose, with a plain, beehive or stepped Art Deco rose to choose from, and in sprung or unsprung versions. Lever handles on rose work with a tubular latch, sash lock, euro lock or bathroom lock, so pair them with a matching escutcheon or bathroom thumbturn in the same finish.

Should I choose sprung or unsprung?

Sprung handles have a strong spring built into the boss, which helps the lever return to level, and suit heavier levers or latches with a light spring. Unsprung handles rely on the spring in the latch or lock. If you are unsure, ask us before you order.
