From The Anvil Burnished Brass Window Furniture

Burnished Brass Window Handles and Stays

Burnished Brass adds subtle luxury and warmth without dominating, and looks especially good with paler shades. From The Anvil ages each piece of solid brass to a dark patina, burnishes it in barrelling machines and finishes it with a clear matt lacquer for protection.

The range covers brass casement stays, brass espag handles, brass locking window handles, brass sash window fasteners, brass sash lifts, brass sash pulleys and brass locking sash stops, in the Avon, Newbury, Reeded, Brompton, Beehive, Mushroom and Prestbury designs.

Burnished Brass Window Furniture in This Collection

  • 12 casement stays and 7 espagnolette handles
  • Locking and night-vent casement fasteners
  • Brighton, quadrant, Fitch and sash hook fasteners, sash lifts, pulleys and stops

Burnished Brass Window Furniture: Questions

Is Burnished Brass lacquered?

Yes. It has a clear matt lacquer applied in the final stages of manufacture for protection.

Will it tarnish?

Aged Brass and Polished Brass are unlacquered, so they darken over time and can be polished. Satin Brass, Burnished Brass and Lacquered Brass are lacquered.
