The From The Anvil 5" Heavy Duty Latch in Aged Bronze is a heavy duty mortice latch for internal doors, worked by sprung lever handles or knob sets. It has a 107mm backset. It is CERTIFIRE approved (certificate CF5531) and fire tested to FD-20/30/60. From The Anvil recommends a 2.5" or 3" latch with lever handles, and a 3", 4" or 5" latch with knob sets. It is sold individually.

Product Features

• We recommend using a 2.5" or 3" latch with our lever handles, and a 3", 4", or 5" latch with our knob sets.
• Performance tested against BS EN12209:2003.
• CERTIFIRE Approved (Certificate CF5531) and fire tested to FD-20/30/60.
• This heavy duty latch is both UKCA marked (0086 CPR 805689) and CE marked (Certificate 2797 CPR 805686).
• For rebated doors, use the matching rebate kit (product code 51777).
• Supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws.

Care & Maintenance

Regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337) is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.

Matching Hardware

Match this latch with sprung door handles on rose or latch door handles on backplate, and hang the door on ball bearing hinges. For a bathroom, add a tubular deadbolt.
