The From The Anvil 2-1/2" Heavy Duty Latch in PVD Brass is a heavy duty mortice latch for internal doors, worked by sprung lever handles or knob sets. From The Anvil recommends a 2.5" or 3" latch with lever handles, and a 3", 4" or 5" latch with knob sets. It is sold individually.

• Equipped with an extra strong spring to ensure our weighty knob sets and levers always return to position.
• Designed to complement our Aged Brass and Polished Brass ironmongery.
• We recommend using a 2.5" or 3" latch with our lever handles, and a 3", 4", or 5" latch with our knob sets.
• An ideal latch for internal doors, also suitable for 30/60 minute fire doors.
• For rebated doors, use the matching rebate kit (product code 91106).
• Supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws.

Care & Maintenance

Our Physical Vapour Deposition finish (PVD) is designed to prevent discolouration and oxidisation, making it an excellent choice where a low maintenance finish is required.

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

Matching Hardware

Match this latch with sprung door handles on rose or latch door handles on backplate, and hang the door on ball bearing hinges. For a bathroom, add a tubular deadbolt.
