Yes. It is brushed with a satin wheel and then given a matt lacquer for protection.

Will it tarnish?

Aged Brass and Polished Brass are unlacquered, so they darken over time and can be polished. Satin Brass, Burnished Brass and Lacquered Brass are lacquered.
