Stay Pins and Locking Stay Pins for Casement Stays

A stay pin is fitted to the window frame, and the holes in a casement stay drop over it to hold the window open at the position you choose. From The Anvil stays come with a stay pin and stay rest, so you only need these if you are replacing a pin or adding security.

For extra security, replace one standard pin with a locking stay pin, so the stay can be locked to the frame. Cranked and offset pins suit frames where a straight pin will not line up, and there are pins for steel windows too. Pair them with matching casement stays.

Does a From The Anvil stay come with a stay pin?

Yes. From The Anvil casement stays are supplied with a stay pin and stay rest as standard. Locking stay pins are sold separately.

What does a locking stay pin do?

It replaces one standard pin, and once locked it holds the stay to the frame so the window cannot be opened any further.
