Heritage Brass Bauhaus Door Pull Handles

Bauhaus Pull Handles in Solid Brass: Smooth, Knurled and Hammered

Our Heritage Brass Bauhaus door pull handles bring together the three Bauhaus designs from M.Marcus: the plain V1312, the V1315 with a knurled grip and the V1317 with a hand-hammered centre section. All three share the same squared, cranked-leg silhouette and the same 305mm, 457mm and 609mm centres, so you can mix textures across a project while keeping every door in proportion.

Design and Style

The Bauhaus movement stripped design back to honest geometry, and these handles follow that idea closely. Flat-faced legs step out from the door at a crisp right angle before meeting a solid round grip, giving a strong architectural outline that suits flush internal doors, panelled doors painted in deep tones and large pivot or double doors.

  • V1315 Bauhaus Knurled: 330mm long (305mm centres), 483mm long (457mm centres); 25mm diameter knurled grip, 60mm projection
  • V1317 Hammered Bauhaus: 330mm long (305mm centres), 483mm long (457mm centres), 635mm long (609mm centres); 25mm bar, 25mm bases, 60mm projection

Fixing Options

In this collection, bolt through handles fix to one side of the door with bolts passing through from the other face and back to back sets fit a matching handle to both faces using a single set of connecting bolts (made to order by M.Marcus, typically around 6 weeks). M.Marcus can also make secret fix versions of several of these designs to order, where the fixings are completely hidden; contact our team for a quote. Fit a push plate on the opposite face to cover the bolt heads neatly.

Finishes

Available in antique brass, satin brass, polished brass, matt bronze, polished chrome, satin nickel and matt black. Heritage Brass finishes are matched across door handles, pull handles and finger plates, so you can specify one finish throughout a room or a whole house.

Where to Use Them

Choose the smooth V1312 for a clean, minimal look, the knurled V1315 where you want extra grip and a subtle engineered texture, or the hammered V1317 to add a handcrafted, tactile finish to feature doors.

Why Choose Heritage Brass

Every handle here is part of the Heritage Brass range from M.Marcus, the British architectural hardware maker founded in 1940 and based in Dudley in the West Midlands. Each pull is made from solid brass rather than plated zinc, so it feels weighty, stays rigid on busy doors and holds its finish for years. Delivery

Stock items are usually delivered within 2-3 working days across the UK. Back to back sets are made to order by M.Marcus, so please allow a lead time of around 6 weeks for those items.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the V1312, V1315 and V1317 Bauhaus pull handles?

They share the same Bauhaus frame. The V1312 has a smooth grip, the V1315 has a finely knurled grip and the V1317 has a hammered grip for a hand-forged texture.

Can I fit a Bauhaus pull handle on both sides of a door?

Yes. The V1312 and V1315 are available here as back to back fixing sets, which fit a matching handle on each face of the door using a single set of through-bolts.

Complete the door with a matching push plate from our finger plates and push plates range, compare every design in our Heritage Brass door pull handles, or browse our full selection of door pull handles from all leading brands.
