Charlston Art Deco Door Knobs on Stepped Backplates

Inspired by the geometric architecture of the 1920s and 1930s, the Heritage Brass Charlston range sets a faceted, cushion-shaped knob on a tall stepped Art Deco backplate. The plate measures 201 x 65mm with an 11mm projection and the knob projects 65mm. It is a statement design for 1930s semis, Deco apartments and anyone restoring original interwar doors, made in solid brass for a long service life.

Charlston in every room

CHA1910 is the latch plate for passage doors, CHA1900 has a keyhole for a mortice sashlock, CHA1930 has a bathroom turn and release, and CHA1948 takes a euro cylinder. Pair them throughout an interwar house to restore a consistent 1930s look.

Sizes and fitting

The stepped plate measures 201 x 65mm with an 11mm projection and the faceted knob projects 65mm. The wide plate covers old screw holes well on restoration jobs. The knob is sprung on one side for use with a standard or lightly sprung 76mm tubular latch.
