The Heritage Brass V991 sliding casement stay has a sliding thumb-screw block that runs along the arm, so you can lock the window open at any position rather than on fixed pin holes. Heritage Brass is the solid brass range from M.Marcus, the Dudley based British hardware manufacturer established in 1940.
