Heritage Brass Sliding Door Pull Handles

Pull Handles for Surface-Mounted Sliding Doors

Sliding doors that run on the face of a wall are pulled from both sides, so a matching back to back pull handle is usually the best choice. This collection brings together the Heritage Brass back to back sets and bar pulls suited to surface-mounted sliding doors.

Design and Style

Straight bar and D shapes give a comfortable grip in the direction of travel, and back to back fixing means one set of bolts holds a matching handle on each face.

Sizes and Specifications

  • Back to back sets: Avon, Gio, Bauhaus, Bauhaus Knurled, T Bar, Metro, Round Bar and Apollo
  • Single bar pulls: T Bar V1361, Bar Knurled V1365, Round Bar V2059 and Tubular V1475
  • Check projection against the gap between door and wall or frame before ordering

Fixing Options

In this collection, bolt through handles fix to one side of the door with bolts passing through from the other face and back to back sets fit a matching handle to both faces using a single set of connecting bolts (made to order by M.Marcus, typically around 6 weeks). Fit a push plate on the opposite face to cover the bolt heads neatly.

Finishes

Available in antique brass, satin brass, polished brass, matt bronze, polished chrome, satin nickel, matt black, polished nickel and satin chrome. Heritage Brass finishes are matched across door handles, pull handles and finger plates, so you can specify one finish throughout a room or a whole house.

Where to Use Them

Suitable for surface-mounted sliding doors and barn-style track doors. Pocket doors that slide into the wall need a flush pull instead, as a projecting handle will stop the door closing fully into the pocket.

Why Choose Heritage Brass

As a specialist ironmonger, Trade Door Handles supplies the Heritage Brass door furniture range from M.Marcus. We choose solid brass pull handles because they last: the metal is dense, dimensionally stable and takes a far better finish than cheaper alloys. Delivery

Stock items are usually delivered within 2-3 working days across the UK. Back to back sets are made to order by M.Marcus, so please allow a lead time of around 6 weeks for those items.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use these on a pocket door?

No. Pocket doors need flush pulls that sit within the door face. These pull handles project and would stop the door sliding into the wall cavity.

How much projection do I need on a sliding door?

Allow enough clearance for the handle to pass the frame or return wall. Projections in this collection range from 51mm to 78mm.
