York Security 40mm Std. Nightlatch Matt Bronze Finish

This York Security 40mm night latch is the narrow backset version, made for doors with slim stiles or glazing close to the edge, where a standard 60mm latch would not fit. The 40mm backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the cylinder keyhole.

A slide button on the case holds the bolt in either the open or closed position, and the latch is supplied with a rim cylinder and two keys. For full security on a front door, fit it above a BS3621 5 lever deadlock.

Finish

The night latch case is finished in matt bronze so it coordinates with matt bronze door furniture on the inside of the door, rather than the plain grey or brass cases most night latches come in. Clean with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and avoid metal polishes or aerosol cleaners.
