York Security Mortice Locks, Latches and Night Latches

York Security is the lock and latch range from M.Marcus, designed to sit behind Heritage Brass door furniture and give every door in a project a matching faceplate and strike. Instead of fitting a plain nickel or brass lock case behind antique brass or matt black handles, York Security lock bodies are finished to the same palette as the handles, so the edge of the door looks as considered as the face.

What is in the York Security range?

  • Standard and heavy duty (architectural) tubular latches in 2.5, 3, 4 and 5 inch lengths
  • Bathroom locks and tubular bathroom deadbolts for privacy doors
  • 3 lever sash locks and deadlocks for internal doors
  • Euro profile sash locks for use with a euro cylinder
  • British Standard BS3621 kitemarked 5 lever sash locks and deadlocks for external doors
  • 40mm and 60mm backset night latches, including a roller bolt version
  • Rebate kits for rebated double doors

Finishes to match your door furniture

Most York Security locks and latches are offered in Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Matt Black, Polished Chrome / Polished Nickel and Satin Chrome / Satin Nickel. The combined chrome and nickel faceplates are designed to sit comfortably with either handle finish. Night latches are also offered in White.
