This York Security mortice bathroom lock combines a handle operated latch and a turn operated privacy bolt in one case, for bathroom and cloakroom doors where privacy is needed. It is made for bathroom door handles on backplate with 8mm spindles and 57mm centres, which carry the thumbturn and emergency release on the handle plates.

It can also be used with lever on rose handles or door knobs using bolt through fixing, in which case you fit a separate bathroom thumb turn and release.

Finish

The faceplate is supplied in a combined polished chrome and polished nickel finish, chosen to sit comfortably with either polished chrome or polished nickel door handles. Wipe with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and water marks. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
