This York Security 3 lever mortice deadlock has a single key-operated deadbolt and no latch, so the door is held by the key alone. It suits internal doors that only need locking occasionally, such as stores, cupboards and outbuildings, and is finished to match the rest of the York Security range.

A 3 lever deadlock is not a British Standard lock, so for external doors covered by home insurance choose a BS3621 5 lever deadlock instead.

Finish

Antique brass is an aged finish with darker bronze tones and brighter brass highlights, sealed with a clear protective lacquer. It is chosen to match the antique brass door handles, knobs and hinges in the M.Marcus range. Antique finishes vary slightly in tone from piece to piece, which is a characteristic of the finish rather than a fault. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
