From The Anvil's classic letterplates and covers are an attractive option for solid door types. From The Anvil's letterplates can be fitted to the external face of the door, and a letterplate cover is fitted to the internal side to limit drafts if the full letterbox is not needed. Check the size of your existing letter plate cut out, or the space on a new door, before you order.

From The Anvil's Black products have a distinctive, subtle sheen; hand forged from mild steel this finish are extremely low maintenance, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability as a result of being powder coated, then baked in a high temperature oven during the final stages of manufacturing. An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

Care and Maintenance

An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, From The Anvil offers a durable 'Black Touch Up Paint' (73101) if required.
