The From The Anvil Rim Lock & Cast Iron Cover in Black is a rim lock, fitted to the surface of the door rather than morticed in, with a surface-mounted keep on the frame. It is reversible, so it can be used on a left or right hand door. It is a 1 lever lock and is not insurance rated, so pair it with a British Standard deadlock where your insurer requires one. It is sold individually.

An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

An extremely low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, we offer a durable 'Black Touch Up Paint' (73101) if required.
