The Polished Marine SS (316) 6" Universal Bolt has been thoughtfully engineered with both practicality and aesthetics in mind. We have an extensive range of door, window, French and flush bolts, ranging from 4" to 12". A multi purpose bolt which can be used on windows or doors and in other applications due to a variety of keeps supplied with the product. Can be used horizontally & vertically due to the strong spring mechanism incorporated into the bolts. Supplied with matching SS wood screws.. Our Polished Marine 316 Stainless Steel is a bright, high sheen, finish well suited to a range of architectural styles. A versatile choice that looks especially striking when used against dark and dramatic hues, but also works when paired with a range of more subtle colours for a classic look. The marine-grade 316 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish finish used on the From The Anvil Polished Marine (316) 6" Universal Bolt in Polished Marine SS (316) is applied by skilled craftspeople to ensure a consistent, durable result that maintains its character over time.

Care & Maintenance

An extremely hardwearing finish which offers exceptional protection against corrosion. Having surpassed 1,000+ hours salt testing, it's an excellent choice for use in salt rich, or heavily polluted environments. Despite the natural durability of this finish, we would still recommend washing your product using a soft, clean cloth and mild soapy water from time-to-time to reduce unnecessary pollutants building up on the products surface. Please ensure all products are dried immediately with a clean, soft cloth after any cleaning. Over time, stainless steel can appear to tarnish. This is due to surface particulate deposits rather than the stainless steel itself. Specialist stainless steel cleaning products such as our 'Stainless Steel Cleaner Kit' (33030) are available to remove tarnishing and nylon abrasive pads can aid in their use, being careful to use them in the direction of the grain. Carbon steel wool is reactive and should never be used on stainless steel. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
