Product Features

• From The Anvil's Art Deco door knocker is forged from solid brass which highlights all the hand finished details of its design. A perfect choice for external doors, with many matching products available.
• Coordinate with the From The Anvil matching Art Deco centre door knob for a truly grand entrance.
• Fixed to your door using a bolt-through fixing for the knocker and strike plate, which is finished with a small feature knob on the internal side of the door.
• Supplied with matching 110mm stainless steel threaded bolts which provide a bolt-through fixing.

Polished Brass Finish

Polished Brass is a simplistic, classic finish most synonymous with use in traditional period properties and interiors, yet works well paired with light colours and subtle textural details to achieve a luxurious, more modern aesthetic.

From The Anvil's Polished Brass products are manufactured from solid, unlacquered brass. Bright and reflective when polished, although as an unlacquered, 'living' finish it will continue to oxidise, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes too dark or tarnished, it can be polished to restore the brighter finish.

The Slimline Art Deco Door Knocker is also made in Matt Black, Burnished Brass, Satin Marine SS (316), Polished Marine SS (316), Polished Bronze, External Beeswax, Polished Nickel, Aged Bronze, Pewter Patina, Black, Polished Chrome, Aged Brass and Satin Brass.

Care and Maintenance

This finish will continue to oxidise and age as it is an unlacquered finish, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes tarnished or too dark, it can be restored to brighten the finish. From The Anvil recommends polishing with a dry cloth or alternatively using the From The Anvil 'Brasso' (73102), which assists with the cleaning of solid brass products.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
