The From The Anvil Beeswax Floor Mounted Door Stop is part of the From The Anvil door stops range. From The Anvil's range of durable door stops allow you to coordinate your project to the finest detail. Fit a door stop where the door or handle would otherwise hit a wall or furniture.

Product Features

Beeswax Finish

Beeswax is the From The Anvil most traditional finish with a soft, natural aesthetic featuring subtle blue and deep red ochre tones which are preserved in the steel during the manufacturing process; this finish is ideally suited to older, traditional dwellings and cottage interiors.

Beeswax products are hand forged from mild steel. After forging, the subtle colours in the metal are preserved by dipping the products in hot beeswax, resulting in the soft, matte richness.

The Floor Mounted Door Stop is also made in Polished Brass, Burnished Brass, Polished Marine SS (316), Satin Marine SS (316), Polished Bronze, Aged Bronze, Polished Nickel, Polished Chrome, Aged Brass, Black, Pewter Patina, Satin Chrome and Satin Brass.

Care and Maintenance

Due to temperature changes or packaging, a Beeswax product may occasionally show signs of a white bloom upon opening. This can be buffed with a soft cloth to remove.

Although this finish already offers a very strong barrier against environmental conditions, From The Anvil recommends re-applying a small amount of the From The Anvil 'Maintenance Wax' (33002) periodically with a cloth or brush which provides additional protection to the surface of your product and further protects this from any harmful external elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, From The Anvil recommends regular oiling of all moving parts using the From The Anvil '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

*Please note that where possible From The Anvil recommends using the From The Anvil External Beeswax products (in place of standard Beeswax) in areas of your property where damp conditions are expected such as kitchens and bathrooms. Light surface rust may appear if using the From The Anvil standard Beeswax finish in damp conditions, but can be removed with ease using 00 grade wire wool, followed by an application of 'Maintenance Wax' (33002).
