Frelan Hardware Double Pocket Door Kit

The Frelan Hardware Double Pocket Door Kit (JVPDKD) is a complete concealed sliding system for a pair of internal doors that meet in the middle of the opening. Both leaves glide into their own hidden pockets within the stud wall, so a wide opening can be closed off completely or thrown fully open without a single door swinging into the room. It is the go-to space-saving solution for through-lounges, large en-suites, dressing rooms and open-plan layouts where a broad, flexible opening is wanted without sacrificing floor space.

Supplied by Frelan Hardware, this double pocket door gear kit combines two single kits with the joining adaptor needed to run them as a matched pair. Each leaf benefits from the soft close and soft open mechanism fitted as standard, is rated for doors up to 100kg and is cycle tested to 100,000 operations for dependable everyday use in residential and light commercial projects.

Stud wall and installation guidance

Each pocket is built into standard 4 x 2 (89mm) stud work with 12.5mm plasterboard, giving a finished wall thickness of 114mm and a 57mm internal cavity to suit 30-45mm doors.
