This York Security 60mm roller bolt night latch uses a sprung roller in place of a bevelled latch bolt, so the door is held closed by the roller and can be pushed or pulled open without turning a handle. The 60mm backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the cylinder keyhole, the standard size for most timber doors.

Finish

The night latch case is finished in matt black so it coordinates with matt black door furniture on the inside of the door, rather than the plain grey or brass cases most night latches come in. Clean with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and avoid metal polishes or aerosol cleaners.
