This York Security architectural tubular bathroom deadbolt is a compact privacy bolt fitted separately from the door latch. It is the simple way to make a bathroom, en-suite or WC door lockable when you are using lever on rose handles or door knobs with a plain tubular latch. The door is locked and unlocked by a thumbturn on the inside, and in an emergency the bolt can be opened from outside with a coin release.

The 4" (102mm) case gives a 82mm backset, so the thumbturn lines up with handles set further in from the door edge, for example alongside a matching long backset latch.

Finish

The faceplate is supplied in a combined polished chrome and polished nickel finish, chosen to sit comfortably with either polished chrome or polished nickel door handles. Wipe with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and water marks. The finish is applied to the visible faceplate and strike; the colour of the lock case itself may vary.
