The Roughneck Gorilla mini sledgehammer is precision-forged from high-carbon steel with a dome-shaped striking point that concentrates force, plus a larger chamfered face for general striking. Both faces are induction heat-treated for hardness.

A side striking face, left unhardened, is designed specifically for driving wooden posts and stakes without splitting them. The shock-absorbing TPE grip keeps the 3lb hammer comfortable to use.
