Product Features

About the Hammered Newbury Design

Our collection of Hammered products are meticulously hand-hammered by our skilled Blacksmiths to create a unique, textured surface that's well suited to a variety of settings. See the full From The Anvil Hammered Newbury range for matching door, window and cabinet hardware.

Polished Nickel Finish

Polished Nickel is an excellent choice for those looking for a bright, reflective finish with warmth. This extremely versatile finish is best suited to contemporary interiors, but can also work well in more traditional settings due to its warm calming undertones.

Our Polished Nickel is a high quality chrome plating applied to solid brass. The subtle brassy undertones of this finish are a result of only one plating being applied, which offer a warmth that cannot be replicated with more modern, cooler chrome finishes.

Other Finishes

This Hammered Newbury Espag - LH is also available in Aged Brass, Aged Bronze, Black, Matt Black, Pewter Patina, Polished Bronze and Polished Chrome. See every finish in From The Anvil espagnolette window handles.

Care & Maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the plated finish.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

Matching Hardware

Pair this handle with matching casement stays in the same design and finish, and add a locking stay pin for extra security. For windows without a gearbox, see casement fasteners.
