The From The Anvil Night-Vent Locking Peardrop Fastener - RH in Satin Chrome is a Peardrop casement fastener, sometimes called a cockspur handle, which holds a casement window shut against the frame. It is sold individually. It is night-venting, so it can be locked closed or slightly open to let in some air. It locks by way of a grub screw. This is the right hand version: standing inside looking out, a window hinged on the right needs a right hand handle.

Product Features

• Designed to fit casement windows and match the peardrop window stays in the range.
• The handle is night venting and can be locked in the open position as well as the closed position allowing some ventilation.
• The product is handed and therefore care needs to be taken when choosing the correct hand. From the inside view, if your window is hinged on the right then a right-hand fastener is required.
• The fastener has a locking mechanism by way of a grub screw.
• Suitable for use with weather-stripped windows.
• Supplied with matching SS wood screws.

About the Design

Our range of peardrop fasteners are simple in design and offer a traditional looking product.

Satin Chrome Finish

Satin Chrome is a beautifully understated, more subtle alternative to some of our polished finishes; its cool, blue traces and less reflective appearance make it a favourable choice for modern homes and interiors, yet it also works well in period properties where a contemporary touch is desired.

Manufactured from a base of solid brass with a high quality chrome plating applied to its surface, our Satin Chrome products are brushed with a satin wheel during the final stages of manufacturing, giving them their distinctive, matt appearance, before a high quality matt lacquer is applied to the surface for protection.

Other Finishes

This Night-Vent Locking Peardrop Fastener - RH is also available in Antique Pewter, Beeswax, Black, Pewter Patina, Polished Brass and Polished Chrome. See every finish in From The Anvil casement fasteners.

Care & Maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the plating.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our '3-in-1 Oil' (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

Matching Hardware

Pair this fastener with matching casement stays in the same design and finish, and add a locking stay pin to secure the stay. For espag windows, see espagnolette handles. Browse all chrome window handles.
